If your level is below 2.0 pCi/L, no immediate action is needed, though periodic retesting is recommended as conditions can change over time. If it falls between 2.0 and 4.0 pCi/L, the EPA recommends a follow-up long-term test to establish an annual average. If it is at or above 4.0 pCi/L, the EPA recommends consulting with a certified radon mitigation contractor about installing a radon reduction system.
